The Role of the Parliament of the Republic of Albania in the European Integration Process

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to analyze the legal framework in force in the Republic of Albania on the parliamentary structure involved in the process of European integration. Through this analysis, it is intended to highlight the role that the Parliament of the Republic of Albania plays in the European integration process. In the Constitution, reference is made to the important principle of the check and balance, to understand that the Parliament - Government relationship in the process of European integration, is primarly based in the Constitution, as the highest act of the state. Regarding the legal framework, the Regulation of the Parliament and Law no. 15/2015 were analyzed to highlight the role of the Parliament in the process of European integration.
