Safeguarding and Strengthening Constitutional Principles in Albania: A Focus on Youth

Abstract

Preserving and reinforcing constitutional principles in Albania is crucial for ensuring the sustainable and democratic functioning of the state. This imperative takes a particular significance when directing attention to the participation and role of young people. This study explores various aspects of this complex and timely topic, addressing challenges such as the notable absence of adequate constitutional education for the youth in Albanian society. Constitutional education stands as a cornerstone for comprehending the values and fundamental principles of a democratic society, and its deficiency poses risks to the maintenance of the rule of law and the fundamental rights of citizens.
